"Vestiges," so is called the exhibition of Julia Balbi, which will commence on 11 November at 17:30 at the assembly hall of the Faculty of Economics, University of Trieste Piazzale Europa 1, Building D. Giulia Jercog present.

These are works that develop in fiber art, using the technique of fototessitura and fotointreccio. The artist is oriented on analysis of the relationship "between man and nature," trying to open a broader discussion of current issues which invests in companies es'iscriva phenomena of globalization. The sole refuge of humanity today, broken by hardships existential, is the rediscovery of nature and environmental awareness of its beauties. Remains are traces of human beings that natural forces, represented by the vortex, sweeping away if it is violated this planetary picture. A fundamental element of the works is the fiber, even strips of photos here that the Balbi intertwined with each other, transforming them in perceptible, able to accommodate the light and create new forms.

The exhibition was organized by a student of Cultural Heritage Giulia Jercog under the supervision of Prof. Massimo De Grassi, Professor of Contemporary Art History at the Faculty of Arts and Philosophy, University of Trieste.
